Got 42 dollars of food and tried paying with 50 and got told that they didn't have change

Went through to get me my husband and 6 kids food and total was around 42 and change I handed a 50 and she said she couldn't give change and it's 8 at night dinner rush normally and we just left put our service else where didn't even try to ask the manager for change
