Shingletown Rest Area EB & WB

Saw signs 22 miles away saying this rest area is closed. I left redding when I was tired thinking that this rest area was open and now I'm in a closed gas station parking lot with no bathrooms and no one around.

Really clean. Good access.

Peaceful, small trail along creek. Picknick benches.
