Bridal Lake Rest Area

Horrible maintenance. 2ft of snow on it and every single turnout towards Creston. Inhumane. They don’t even bother to salt until close to Creston. Horrible. Chain up area also 2ft snow.

Went there in summer while going to Creston. This is a very nice spot to have a break. It's along the road but there's not a lot of traffic at all so it's pretty calm. There's a trail going around the lake. It's quite cooler up there as well. The road on each side is very scenic too, make sure you have good brakes though.

Absolutly Beautiful, so high up.. Rest area is peacefull. You can have a snowball fight till June :) Very, very hard road on brakes (Kootenay and Salmo Passes) It's stunning how much snow is still in these mountains and it's May 17th :)
