The program focuses on real-world tasks like diagnostics, tire and brake work, and preventive maintenance. Trainees learn diesel systems, electrical troubleshooting, steering and suspension, and fluid systems including DEF.
They use OEM-level scanners and other diagnostic tools so they can recognize fault codes on actual rigs. Communication is practiced as much as mechanics so techs explain issues in plain language and give realistic time estimates.
The Academy also covers DOT inspection procedures and documentation standards drivers rely on.
